Reasons Education & Travel (理新教育) is a New Zealand–based education and cultural exchange organization headquartered in Hamilton NZ.
Since 2014, we have been dedicated to connecting China and New Zealand through programs such as micro-study experiences (short-term school integration), long-term study pathways, parent-child study tours, and two-way educational exchanges.
We aim to provide families around the world with safe, authentic, and heart-warming study-abroad and living experiences.

Reasons 理新教育是一家总部位于新西兰汉密尔顿的教育与文化交流机构，自2014年起深耕中纽两地，专注于微留学（短期插班）、长期留学路径规划、亲子研学旅行与双向教育交流等服务。我们致力于为全球家庭提供“安全、真实、有温度”的留学与旅居体验。

Our vision is to:

  • Provide Chinese students with authentic immersion in New Zealand classrooms, families, and communities to enhance their English and global competence.

  • Offer New Zealand schools and families multicultural exchange opportunities, building an inclusive international learning environment.

  • Create a “second-home-style” way of life combining local living and cultural depth for educators, families, and retirees.

  • Build a two-way education bridge between China and New Zealand, promoting mutual visits of student groups, teacher exchanges, and university collaborations.

We are a cross-cultural team of New Zealand and Chinese educators, program designers, family mentors, translators, and creatives.

Core Members:

  • Garth Reason (高斯·理新) – New Zealander; education consultant, lodge operator, and youth program organizer.
  • Mo Yingping Reason (莫英萍·理新) – Chinese; education & travel professional, China–NZ exchange advocate, Master of Management, University of Waikato.

We are passionate about the intersection of culture, education, and lifestyle, and we accompany every student and family in building their “second home” in New Zealand.
